Age requirement

• We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years. 

Prices

• Rough estimates that are given are not valid as a complete price quote. Valid quotes will be provided with a quote number.

•  Price quotes are valid for 12 months. If they are not used within this timeframe they will expire.

• Upfront paying customers will receive a 5% discount on their suit. This does not apply to payment plans.

DO’S and DON’T S

• We don’t add adult oriented attributes to our work.

• We optionally offer artistic liberty designs and can help with designing something to your liking.

• We prefer to work with materials that are not pre crafted by another artist. E.g.: headbases, resin claws, patterns or led lights. There may be exceptions but these exceptions need to be communicated clearly.

Upgrades

• Commissioners who have previously bought a fursuit partial have the option to upgrade to a fullsuit at a later date.

• You also have the option to get extra features at a later date. For example: accessories, eyelids, extra pairs of paws and design upgrades.

Supplies

• You are free to send us your own fur or fabric for your fursuit or plush commission. However we require a valid receipt of the purchase of the products to subtract from the final price.

• If you are commissioning fursuit parts to match with your existing fursuit parts you are required to send us the correct furs to use. Either by shipping, or directing us to the website to order them from.

Character design 

• A clear character ref sheet is required to create your commission.

The minimum requirements for these are:

• Front and back view

• Color swatches

• Species

• Gender

• Small features like the inside of the mouth, tongue shape and claw color.

• Flat color (no shading)

• Be SFW

• Fabric colors may differ from the colors on your ref sheet. We strive to provide you with plenty of options to find a match you are happy with.

• Gradients are not possible on fabrics at this time. Gradients will therefore be simplified.

• Characters that belong to someone else will be denied. You need to have full right of the ownership and use of the character.

• Trademarked characters or kinsonas from different media like Pokemon, Disney, TV shows or other companies will not be accepted. Inspired characters will only be accepted if the inspiration taken is transformative enough. If you’re unsure, reach out to us so we can pre-approve your design.

• If you don’t have a reference sheet or an image I can work with for your commission, you can always request an artistic liberty design. Just send some inspiration and things you like so I have something that will help bring your suit to life.

Edits and changes

• After your commission has been accepted there are limited options to change or alter the design of your character. This could also change your given price quote and could lead to shortage of materials, as well as an increase in costs.
  

• Feedback and visual changes can be made throughout the entire process and is encouraged to give you the best suit possible. Large edits and changes to already completed work may result in extra fees. To avoid extra fees make sure your ref sheet is up to date with the current look of your character.

• Once your commission has been accepted you can choose how to stay in contact with us on any of these platforms:

• Rude or inappropriate behavior towards us or our work can result in your commission being canceled. 

Shipping

• Shipping costs and import fees will need to be paid by the commissioner.  

• JurassiCat Studios is not responsible for any loss or damage during shipping.
  

• Insuring your package is required.

  This is so we can make a new suit in case of loss, uninsured packages are difficult to reimburse and would mean that we wouldn’t be able to make a new suit if yours were to get lost in shipping
  

• Optionally, convention pickup can be discussed within a reasonable timeframe, as we can not always guarantee the project to be done in time.
  

Deadlines and wait time

• JurassiCat Studios does not work with strict deadlines. No exceptions will be made for convention deadlines or other events. 

• While we strive to complete your suit or product within one year from the final payment, there may be situations or calamities that prevent us from being able to do so. For example personal situations, material delivery or even situations out of our control. If this seems to be the case for your commission we will contact you as soon as possible about the eventual delay. 

Payment

• Payments are made through paypal and/or Direct Bank Transfers/iDeal.
  

• All prices are in euros.
  

• Upfront paying customers will receive a 5% discount on their suit. This does not apply to payment plans.

• An invoice will be sent to you with the payment information or through paypal invoice. Never send over any payments without an invoice.
  

• A 30% non refundable downpayment is required to secure your spot on the queue. This must be paid within 7 days of receiving the invoice. Failure to provide me with the payment will result in the cancellation of your commission.
  

• Upfront paying commissioners will get priority in the queue. 

• You won’t be obligated to pay yet until I have started on your commission and have shown the first work in progress pictures. This payment must be paid in full before the commission is completed and ready for shipping. Monthly payments are encouraged. I have every right to refuse to send out your finished commission until payment has been 100% completed.

Cancellations and refunds

• If at any point the commission needs to be canceled only 70% of the full price will be refunded. The 30% upfront payment is nonrefundable. 

• I reserve the right to sell your finished commission if you are unable to pay or are suddenly unreachable. This will be done after 2 months of no payments or communications. 

• Unfinished or partially finished work could possibly be repurposed and changed for other customers. We will ensure to change these parts so they don’t resemble your character anymore.

• Once a commission has safely been delivered to you it is not able to be refunded.

Repairs

• Repairs or small adjustments are free* for 12 months upon receiving your fursuit or plush commission. Your suit may need to be shipped back to me within this timeframe. After this period repairs will come with a small fee depending on how complex the repairs are.

• Suits are required to be cleaned before being sent in for repairs. Failure to do so will result in additional cleaning fees.

• Help can be provided by us if requested for any small repairs that are too small to ship for. We’ll personally give you plenty of tips to be able to fix the issue yourself.
  

• When you decide to make major modifications** after receiving it, the 12 month warranty will be made invalid. We do not ensure repairs on items that have been altered.

*We are only able to provide free repair for customers within the EU due to import costs, overseas shipments will have to be accounted for.

**This only applies to major changes, small fixes and stitches you’ve repaired will not void the warranty.

Allergy warnings

• Three of our employees are animals*, Anna the cat, and Bens and Mercedes the guinea pigs.
  If you are allergic to any of the animals mentioned please be aware of this before commissioning. Items are always disinfected and cleaned before shipping.
  
  *For legal reasons I have to state that they are not actually employees, they’re just pets.
  

Pictures and credit

• JurassiCat Studios holds full rights and credit to the creation of your commission. Ownership of the character/s will always be yours to keep. Major alterations or adjustments to suits are not allowed without prior notice. 

• We have full right to use pictures we have taken of your commission to use in advertising. These will be posted on our social media platforms and website.
  

• You hold the right over personal pictures you have taken of your commission. And so do any photographers that may have taken pictures of you. We will only use these pictures if we have been given permission from you and the photographer. 

• Other outside parties do not have the right to repost or use pictures of your commission. Only the customer is allowed to repost these pictures at their own disposal. 

• Personal information given to us through the commission process will be held private. 

Commercial rights

• Our products are intended for personal use only. Which means that our suits and plushies and any other product we make is meant to be sold to individuals to bring their characters to life.
  
  This doesn’t apply to individuals who use our suits as their online mascot or use it for their personal content.
  
  Any inquiries for company mascots or other commercially related projects will have to be made through a different commission stream, please contact us through email if this is the case.
  
  We appreciate your respect in not using our general commission forms for this purpose.

• You are allowed to sell merchandise of your character/fursuit and otherwise monetize any content you make of them through tiktok/youtube etc.
  

• You are prohibited from using our suits for any Crypto, NFT or Artificial “intelligence” related projects. Doing so will immediately and permanently ban you from commissioning us in the future.
